ECN and our state APCO/NENA chapter, in coordination with the Office of Emergency Communications (OEC), is offering a free, full-day training session to provide PSAP managers and staff the background and tools needed to create PSAP-specific (COOP) plans.
A comprehensive, functional COOP plan will be a requirement for each PSAP to submit with their County 911 Participation Plan. Each county will be required to submit a COOP plan by March 31, 2018. The plans will then be presented for approval by the SECB in May 2018.
