Courses for Credit

The Peace Officers Standards and Training Board (POST) has approved the following courses for credit (one POST credit each).
  • Radio 101
  • History of ARMER
  • Interoperability 101
  • Wireless Broadband - FirstNet
  • Technology of the ARMER System

Beginning July 1, 2016, Alexandria Technical and Community College is required to submit an "Affidavit of Attendance" POST roster for each course a licensed officer attends. This affidavit must contain the officer's name, POST number, course, date attended and hour(s) attended. This is how you will receive POST credits for the courses you take. This will require you to logon with a username and password and profile that is unique to you and contains your first and last name. You cannot use a generic group logon setup for a region or department. Please email Linda Muchow or call 320-762-4539  to receive a unique username, password and profile or if you have any questions.
